The British Water Ski & Wakeboard “On the Edge” Learn to Wakeboard course for adults (26+) is the perfect way to learn to wakeboard. Using our System 2.0 cable wakeboarding system and professional instruction we can guarantee you success. All specialised equipment is provided, including wetsuits.
Places are very limited and strictly on a first come first served basis. It is very unlikely we will run this course again this year.
The sessions will be 6 x 1 hours over three weeks on a Tuesday and Thursday evening or over six Saturdays. Once the course is complete particpants will receive a free session at our Thursday evening wakeboard club.
It is hoped that this will bridge the gap between trying the sport and moving into the club setting. The sessions will give in depth training including the BWSW Cutting Edge Bronze Award and working towards the BWSW Cutting Edge Silver Award. The training will take participants from no previous experience to a level where participants can wakeboard confidently, have an understanding of the sport, its background and be able to confidently attend club and practice sessions.
This course is part funded by British Water Ski & Wakeboard, Sport England and Lagoon Watersports. The usual price of this course would be £261 each. We are able to offer the course to suitable applicants for just £60 on the basis participant agree to attend at least 5 of the 6 sessions.

“Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Alex! After my wakeboard lesson yesterday I went straight down to the beach to kite. I had been having lots of issues riding my board as control was all wrong , I would get up and go nowhere. Happy to say I managed two massive rides to the left and a short one to the right. My body aches like mad today though . Will definitely be back for improvers or a private lesson”
“Great experience, well taught”
