The benefits of these boards are huge and are awesome fun to boot. INDO Boards are a balance trainer and are a highly effective way of working the core, increasing leg strength, improving balance, co-ordination and stability – ideal for helping to improve you performance on the water. Balance training has been proven to be the best way for board sports athletes to create better balance and stability throughout their entire body movements. It has also been shown to reduce the incidence of injuries to the ankle, knee, hips, back and upper body.
Lagoon fitness are offering INDO Board sessions – If you have never been on an INDO Board before you are missing out, get yourself down to Hove Lagoon and have a go!
The classes at Lagoon Fitness consist of getting to grips with getting balanced on the board, first with the use of an INDO FLO cushion. Once confident you can then progress onto an INDO roller for an increased challenge. The challenges and fun are endless – from using the board with traditional exercises such as press ups and squats to achieve an all over effective workout to advanced tricks such as ollies and kick flips to impress all your mates – there is always something new to learn.
The guys from INDO have just came down and gave us some new toys – 3 new boards! A Pro deck which is awesome for snowboarders and the taller riders, a Rocker which is ideal for wakeboarders and wakeskaters to practice your big spin type tricks and lastly the kicktail which is ideal for wakeboarders, wakeskaters and skateboarders which is specifically designed for big tricks.
So when you can’t get on the water, jump on an INDO Board to nail them tricks ready for next time you strap your wakeboard on! GET INVOLVED!
