The sense of accomplishment and freedom is intensely rewarding and there’s nothing like being out of sight of land to ignite your sense of adventure. And then there’s a cold local beer or glass of wine and delicious French food awaiting you on the other side! Destinations will be Dieppe or Fecamp with 70 miles of English channel and the busiest shipping lane in the world to navigate. The experience of sailing through the night to arrive in France for breakfast, rotating watches and navigating the busy channel waters is an invaluable adventure that will build on your sailing experience.
Dates: Tuesday 11th October – Friday 14th October
The cost: For members is 400 credits + £75 and for non-members is £400. These prices don’t include food and drinks – in the morning before you set off as a crew you will provision yourselves for the way there and hopefully find some delicious french food for the way back!
Contingency plan if the weather is awful will be some south coast sailing towards the west country.
The trip is ideally suited to persons with at least Competent Crew experience as well as Day Skippers wishing to build some miles and progress onto their Coastal Skipper.
If you can make it and would like to come along let us know asap so we can book you on (RYA Competent Crew is required). Feel free to call or email for an exact itinerary: 01273 4248 42 opt.1 or email us.
