Have a go sailing with a qualified RYA instructor from Brighton Marina. Sailing from Brighton offers a great way to enjoy some leisure time, getting out on the water feeling at one with the elements is so theoretic and can be exhilarating too. This is a great opportunity to see if sailing is something you would like to pursue in the future, or you just want to take the opportunity to try something you have not done before .The boats we use a perfect to learn on, stable with good performance, with our enthusiastic and experienced instructors this is very much a hands on experience steering and trimming sails, learning some basics
On our sailing courses we use the the Delphia 24 keelboats: This is a larger, more stable boat with a fixed keel which stops the boat from capsizing. Keel boats are a step up in size from dinghies, more like a small manageable yacht but not as big as a cruising yacht. They can bridge the gap between dinghies and cruisers, offering many benefits of both, to the adult beginner.

Thanks so much for organising our sailing lesson yesterday. We had such a fun time, and such amazing weather too. Tom ( the instructor) was brilliant. My son, Angus is a sailing convert, so we’ll definitely come out again in the summer.

Hi just wanted to say a special thank you to all at Lagoon Water Sports especially Tom Anderson for making sailing such a great experience over the recent weeks, and looking forward to coming along soon for some more great times.

I can't believe how much hands on sailing there was that sounds a bit daft but I've learnt so much and am thrilled...It was the first thing I have done that has stretched me for literally years and I'm definitely coming back for more.
