Wakeboard Ride Sessions at Lagoon Wake Park, Brighton. 1 hour sessions are shared between up to 4 riders and 30 minute sessions are shared by up to 2 riders. If only 1 rider is booked for a session the ride time may be reduced half the session length. We have three wakeboard cables, all of which are slightly different so we will try and guide you to the most suitable for your style and ability.
TECH Cable, this cable is not suitable for aerial tricks but has lots of awesome sliders including our new Step Up Rail and a Box with Bank Rail to keep you entertained and get tech on! AIR Cable which has lots of space for you to throw your tricks, so if you want to practice your aerials this is the cable to book. If you don’t want to do just aerials this cable still has a lot to offer including an Incline Rail and a Rooftop Rail. Prices : Sessions cost £37.50 which includes hire of board, wetsuit, helmet (compulsory for all riders) and impact vest. (the sessions are free to Beach Club Members) Save £5 if you have your own board.If you have your own board you can save £5 by using the discount code “HIRE” at the time of booking. Timings: Your session will be booked for a specific time slot. You need to be ready to ride at the start time of your session so we advise arriving 20 minutes in advance of this. Do not be late as it is unlikely we will be able to put you on another session.

This is a free members-only social Drop-in session.
This Clinic is geared towards adults who are beginning to hit the rails and learning basic tricks. Such as 360s and on to the level of learning their first air tricks.
Aimed at improving basic skills to help riders master corners and also improve other skills such as general better riding control, including Ollies , surface 180’s.

What to bring Swimwear: To wear under the wetsuit and impact vests which are provided.Towel: We have hot showers so you will need a towel to dry off at the end of the session.Bag: To put your wet things in.Other stuff: Suitable clothing for the weather on the day. Sunscreen, layers in case the wind gets up, anorak or waterproof jacket.What not to bring Valuables. We have free lockers in the changing rooms but better safe than sorry.
Water quality The water quality in Hove Lagoon is independently tested regularly during the summer season as part of the Brighton and Hove City Councils seafront beach water quality testing. Lagoon Watersports opened in 1994, since that date the water in Hove Lagoon has passed every test.

Alterations to Bookings at Hove Lagoon Customers are able to rearrange course dates up to two times with no charge when Lagoon Watersports is given : 48 hours notice for courses under £75 per person 7 days notice for courses priced between £76 – £300 per person 14 days notice for course over £301 per person If Lagoon Watersports is given less than the required notice period this is considered to be a cancellation. In circumstances when a customer requests more than two changes of a date, a rebooking fee of 50% of the course fee will be charged. In circumstances where the customer is unable to choose new dates or Lagoon Watersports is unable to offer suitable alternative dates a credit will be applied to the customers account that is valid for 24 months. Cancellation charges Customers may cancel a course with written notification from the lead name in your group. The following cancellation fees apply when Lagoon Watersports is given :
Course Cancellation by Lagoon Watersports In circumstances where Lagoon Watersports cancels a course (Excluding Force Majeure), the customer may choose a new date or a full refund. Force Majeure In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future valid for 24 months. This includes cancellation by us due to COVID-19. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
RYA Courses Due limited availability you can only reschedule up to 14 days prior to the course start date to give us time to fill your place, within 14 days and up to 48 hours it will cost £99 to reschedule. Within 48 hours you will need to rebook at full cost of the session/Course Zero to Dayskipper and Learn to Sail packages are allowed a maximum of 2 changes to dates without penalties, this must be at least 7 days prior to the course date otherwise a penalty fee of £75 will be incurred Boating experiences trips, Powerboat ride, Jet Ski Safaris Individuals booked onto boating experiences may reschedule up to 48 hours prior to the activity, within 48 hours you will loose your booking and given a 25% discount on rebooking
You may cancel with written notification from the lead name in your group. The following cancellation fees apply :
Group bookings confirm numbers 4 weeks prior to the event with the final balance. Any changes in numbers we will endeavour to accommodate, the following applies Numbers increases up to 24 hours prior to the event will be accommodated as much as possible, priced per head Number decreases up to 7 days prior to the event will be accommodated, but where this reduce your group size below 6 persons you will need to pay for 6 persons. Session durations might vary depending on changes to group sizes
RYA Courses If we need to cancel due to Instructor availability, damaged equipment or engine failure or weather conditions/Sea State we will give you as much notice as possible and offer new dates to complete the course. Boating experiences trips, Powerboat ride, Jet Ski Safaris If we need to cancel due to Instructor availability, damaged equipment, engine failure or weather conditions/Sea State we will do all we can to arrange another suitable date, if we cannot provide suitable availability then you will be offered a full refund Force Majeure – In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future with a two year expiry
• Come rain or shine we run our wakeboarding sessions in most weather conditions, only if it is extremely windy or if we have lightning storms we do not go on the water.
Please note that ride sessions do not include tuition, they are a chance to work on and develop your skills. Therefore all wakeboarders who book onto our ride sessions must be able to corner constantly on our cables. If you are looking for tuition you can book onto our improvers session or wakeboarding clinic.
