Our zero cost fully funded Fast Track programme gives you two exciting routes into a career in watersports instruction. Both pathways are designed to build confidence, develop real world skills, and lead to nationally recognised qualifications, and these prime you for a job with Lagoon Watersports. The key difference is where you want to focus your time on the water.

BOARDS Fast Track…

is ideal if you are passionate about board sports and coaching people directly on the water.

This pathway focuses on

• paddleboarding,
• windsurfing,
• wakeboarding,
• and the foundations of instructing and coaching.

You will spend plenty of time developing your personal skills, learning how to run safe and engaging sessions, and gaining recognised instructor qualifications.

Entry to this pathway starts with a BOARDS Selection Day, where you will meet the team, get on the water, and show us your enthusiasm, communication skills, and potential.

BOATS Fast Track…

is perfect if you are drawn to the operational and safety side of watersports.

This pathway focuses on

• powerboats,
• personal watercraft,
• marine communication,
• and broader boating skills

You will gain essential RYA qualifications, learn how to operate safely in a professional environment, and build the confidence needed to support sessions and manage activity on the water. BOATS applicants also attend a Selection Day, giving you the chance to learn more about the pathway and demonstrate your suitability.

Both pathways are fast paced, supportive, and open to motivated people with the right attitude. No previous qualifications are required. Whichever route you choose, you will be taking your first step towards becoming a confident, qualified watersports professional with real progression opportunities.
