This only need completing once a year. What to Bring Swimwear: To wear under the wetsuit and impact vests which are provided. Towel: We have hot showers so you will need a towel to dry off at the end of your session. Plastic bag: To put your wet things in. Other stuff: Sunscreen, layers in case the wind gets up, anorak or waterproof jacket. What not to bring Valuables: We have lockers in the changing rooms but better safe than sorry. Course date and times Please arrive 15 minutes before your session starts. Your session is booked for a specific time slot. Please do not be late as it is unlikely we will be able to put you on another session. Please allow ample time for parking and possible delays. 1 hour sessions are shared between up to 4 riders and 30 minute sessions are shared by up to 2 riders. If only 1 rider is booked for a session the ride time may be reduced half the session length. Venue IMPORTANT – We have two venues in Brighton. Please check you are heading to the right one. If you are coming by taxi please double check they are taking you to the right venue. Hove Lagoon, Kingsway, Hove, East Sussex BN3 4LX Click HERE for directions and public transport. Car Parking There is free parking for up to 4 hours opposite the Lagoon. If this is full or you will be staying for longer there is further metered parking on the southern side of the main coast road, the A259 Kingsway, just a short walk to the Lagoon. Opposite the lagoon is a residential area which has a small residents parking restriction on it, please check at the time of parking. Cafe and Free WiFi We have a cafe on site serving great coffee, food and drinks. Friends and family not taking part in activities are welcome to watch. Changing of dates for pay as you go customers Customers are able to rearrange course dates up to two times with no charge when Lagoon Watersports is given : 48 hours notice for courses under £75 per person 7 days notice for courses priced between £76 – £300 per person 14 days notice for course over £301 per person If Lagoon Watersports is given less than the required notice period this considered to be a cancellation. In circumstances when a customer requests more than two changes of a date, a rebooking fee of 50% of the course fee will be charged. In circumstances where the customer is unable to choose new dates or Lagoon Watersports is unable to offer suitable alternative dates a credit will be applied to the customers account that is valid for 24 months. Cancellation charges pay as you go customers Customers may cancel a course with written notification from the lead name in your group. The following cancellation fees apply when Lagoon Watersports is given : More than 4 weeks notice before course/event starts – 25% of the course price will be taken as a cancellation fee. Less than 4 weeks notice before course/event starts – 100% of the course price will be taken as cancellation fee. Course Cancellation by Lagoon Watersports In circumstance where Lagoon Watersports cancels a course the customer may choose a new date or a full refund. Cancellation by Club members and Regular Pass holders Bookings must be cancelled giving Lagoon Watersports at least 3 hours notice. Failure to do so on multiple occasions may result in the temporary locking of your account. Force Majeure In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future valid for 24 months.
