What to Bring

  • Swimwear: To wear under the wetsuit and buoyancy aids which are provided.
  • Something to wear on your feet. Old trainers are great if you do not have any wet shoes.
  • Towel: We have hot showers so they will need a towel to dry off at the end of the session.
  • Something warm to put on afterwards.
  • Plastic Bag: To put wet things in.
  • Other stuff: Sunscreen, layers in case the wind gets up, anorak or waterproof jacket.

What not to bring

Valuables: We have lockers in the changing rooms but better safe than sorry.

Course date and times

Please arrive 20 minutes before the session start time. Your session is booked for a specific time slot. Please do not be late as it is unlikely we will be able to reschedule it. Please allow ample time for parking and possible delays.

Venue 

IMPORTANT – We have two venues in Brighton. Please check you are heading to the right one. If you are coming by taxi please double check they are taking you to the right venue.

Car Parking

There is free parking for up to 4 hours opposite the Lagoon. If this is full or you will be staying for longer there is further metered parking on the southern side of the main coast road, the A259 Kingsway, just a short walk to the Lagoon. Opposite the lagoon is a residential area which has a small residents parking restriction on it, please check at the time of parking.

Cafe and Free WiFi

We have a cafe on site serving great coffee, food and drinks. 

Friends and family not taking part in activities are welcome to watch.

Changing oto booking

If, after your booking has been made, you wish to change your course/event in any way, we will do what we can to reasonably accommodate such changes, but it may not always be possible.

Any request for changes to be made must be in writing signed by the Lead Name in your party. You will be liable to pay any costs and expenses that we incur in making this alteration. Should you request a major alteration to the course/event booking within 4 weeks of the commencement date (such as a change of date, significant decrease in group size) then this will be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.

Customers wishing to add to a party after the initial booking will only be able to do so if sufficient places are available. Availability should not be assumed and you should contact us to check availability first. The price of your course/event may increase or decrease to reflect the changes requested by you but please note that a reduction in numbers attending a course/event will not necessarily result in a reduction in the price of the booking.

Cancellation charges

Customers may cancel a course with written notification from the lead name in your group.

The following cancellation fees apply when Lagoon Watersports is given :

More than 8 weeks notice before course/event starts – Loss of deposit up to a maximum of 25% of the course fee.

Less than 8 weeks notice before course/event starts – 100% of the course price.

At our discretion, we may allow a forfeited deposit or course to be used towards an alternative course/event run by us.

Course Cancellation by Lagoon Watersports

In circumstance where Lagoon Watersports cancels a course the customer may choose a new date or a full refund.

Force Majeure

In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future valid for 24 months.
