Hen Party review at Hove lagoon Harvey Dawkins2018-02-09T11:51:28+00:00 As part of our Hen Party Weekend we decided to do something different and have a go at raft building ! Why raft building? It looked fun, suitable for everyone and it would be a great way for the girls who had not previously met to get to know each other before the night out and more importantly before the big day ! We were introduced to our instructors down at Hove Lagoon. Things started well when it became clear the Charlotte had the hots for one of the instructors! Before she got too out of hand we headed off to an area of grass beside the Lagoon to be greeted by a variety of ropes, planks of wood and barrels. We split into groups and then had a series of team building challenges to complete in which were so much fun. A group of adults could be made to laugh so much by so many everyday objects and to become so competitive with your friends and family as well – it certainly broke the ice! Once we had completed the challenges we needed to build our raft the challenge got even greater. Not an easy thing to construct but we were very proud of our raft. We then put our wetsuits on and set sail on the lagoon. Thankfully it is very shallow as our amazing piece of engineering did not stand up to 6 ladies dancing around on it for very long! After much laughter we took hot showers and fell into the café for a very well deserved glass of something refreshing. Fortunately we got Charlotte back in one piece too! Thanks to everyone at Hove Lagoon for such a good time. Share this post Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google + Email Author Harvey Dawkins
