Olympic windsurfing and sailing – come and try in Brighton

The Olympics have been amazing to watch, fast paced, action packed, exhilarating and certain to give the feeling of wanting to get up and take part in a bit of sporting action. Our medals are rolling in and from the amount of different sports it is hard not to be impressed. Our island has done us proud! For us down at Hove Lagoon and Brighton Marina we have been at the edge of our seats, keeping an eye on the sailing and windsurfing action and we have not been let down! Both the Sailors and Windsurfers have performed amazingly well – a gold from the legend that is Ben Ainslie and a not too shabby Sliver from a Mr Nick Dempsey in the windsurfing. If land sports are not your thing or you want to give something different a try, then why not try your hand at some watersports – maybe you can become the next Olympic sailor!
