Private cable wakeboard hire is a great way to learn to wakeboard or practice. It is ideal for families, small groups or individuals. Sessions can be tailored to you or your groups ability with session lengths from 30 minutes upwards.To check availability please contact us.
Our System 2.0 Wakeboarding Cable can be booked for private hire in 30 minutes slots. We recommend no more than 3 riders in a half hour session and up to 5 riders for an hour. It’s a great way for groups, birthday parties and families to wakeboard as you get the cable to yourselves!

These sessions are available April to the end of November. We will endeavour to accommodate you at the time and date you request so please give us plenty of notice.

What to bring Swimwear: To wear under the wetsuit and impact vests which are provided.Towel: We have hot showers so you will need a towel to dry off at the end of your session.Bag: To put your wet things in.Other stuff: Suitable clothing for the weather on the day. Sunscreen, layers in case the wind gets up, anorak or waterproof jacket.What not to bring Valuables. We have free lockers in the changing rooms but better safe than sorry.
Water quality The water quality in Hove Lagoon is independently tested regularly during the summer season as part of the Brighton and Hove City Councils seafront beach water quality testing. Lagoon Watersports opened in 1994, since that date the water in Hove Lagoon has passed every test.

Alterations to Bookings at Hove Lagoon Customers are able to rearrange course dates up to two times with no charge when Lagoon Watersports is given : 48 hours notice for courses under £75 per person 7 days notice for courses priced between £76 – £300 per person 14 days notice for course over £301 per person If Lagoon Watersports is given less than the required notice period this is considered to be a cancellation. In circumstances when a customer requests more than two changes of a date, a rebooking fee of 50% of the course fee will be charged. In circumstances where the customer is unable to choose new dates or Lagoon Watersports is unable to offer suitable alternative dates a credit will be applied to the customers account that is valid for 24 months. Cancellation charges Customers may cancel a course with written notification from the lead name in your group. The following cancellation fees apply when Lagoon Watersports is given :
Course Cancellation by Lagoon Watersports In circumstances where Lagoon Watersports cancels a course (Excluding Force Majeure), the customer may choose a new date or a full refund. Force Majeure In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future valid for 24 months. This includes cancellation by us due to COVID-19. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
RYA Courses Due limited availability you can only reschedule up to 14 days prior to the course start date to give us time to fill your place, within 14 days and up to 48 hours it will cost £99 to reschedule. Within 48 hours you will need to rebook at full cost of the session/Course Zero to Dayskipper and Learn to Sail packages are allowed a maximum of 2 changes to dates without penalties, this must be at least 7 days prior to the course date otherwise a penalty fee of £75 will be incurred Boating experiences trips, Powerboat ride, Jet Ski Safaris Individuals booked onto boating experiences may reschedule up to 48 hours prior to the activity, within 48 hours you will loose your booking and given a 25% discount on rebooking
You may cancel with written notification from the lead name in your group. The following cancellation fees apply :
Group bookings confirm numbers 4 weeks prior to the event with the final balance. Any changes in numbers we will endeavour to accommodate, the following applies Numbers increases up to 24 hours prior to the event will be accommodated as much as possible, priced per head Number decreases up to 7 days prior to the event will be accommodated, but where this reduce your group size below 6 persons you will need to pay for 6 persons. Session durations might vary depending on changes to group sizes
RYA Courses If we need to cancel due to Instructor availability, damaged equipment or engine failure or weather conditions/Sea State we will give you as much notice as possible and offer new dates to complete the course. Boating experiences trips, Powerboat ride, Jet Ski Safaris If we need to cancel due to Instructor availability, damaged equipment, engine failure or weather conditions/Sea State we will do all we can to arrange another suitable date, if we cannot provide suitable availability then you will be offered a full refund Force Majeure – In circumstances out of our control we will endeavour to rebook and hold credit for any activity in the future with a two year expiry
• Come rain or shine we run our wakeboarding sessions in most weather conditions, only if it is extremely windy or if we have lightning storms we do not go on the water.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Alex! After my lesson yesterday I went straight down to the beach to kite. I had been having lots of issues riding my board as control was all wrong , I would get up and go nowhere. Happy to say I managed two massive rides to the left and a short one to the right. My body aches like mad today though . Will defiantly be back for improvers or another private lesson

Our 12 year son had is birthday party here with 5 friends, they did wakeboarding and loved every second. Harry the instructor was great with them. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.

I booked a lesson for 1/2 hour, with a instructor to go on the cable. They supplied me with a wetsuit, impact vest and a helmet. Reception staff where very helpful and booked me in. The instructor went through the cable and how it's used. He was very knowledgable, coaching me on my water starts and turns. There is also a small cafe serving coffee and food. Well worth a visit if you like your water sports.
