Standup Paddleboarding on the sea Harvey Dawkins2018-02-09T11:51:28+00:00 Thursday evening SUP clinic saw loads of members head out on the sea for a sunset SUP session with Lucy and Junior. There were perfect conditions as there was not a single breathe of wind and the sea was super flat. We had a great turn out with all the SUP boards being used and some of the members heading out onto the sea for the first time. SUP enthusiast Charlotte Curl lead the way alongside Junior, keeping a good pace for all the guys who were confident paddlers. Lucy stayed behind with those new to SUPing giving coaching tips along the way. We all managed to reach the King Alfred and decided it was then time to turn around and head back for after SUP beers. Everyone had an awesome time and the new guys who had never been SUPing now converted! If you want to try SUPing for the the first time join two hour the learn to standup paddleboard course run from Hove Lagoon, Brighton. If you want to come and join us on the water the SUP club runs every Thursdays evening from 6pm. Share this post Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google + Email Author Harvey Dawkins
